ACBPS are committed to meeting or exceeding all our stakeholder’s expectations.

Our commitment to Quality and the stated objectives is achieved by:

  • complying with Client and legislative requirements and statutory obligations;

  • identifying processes and criteria to continually improve quality while applying effective application;

  • ensuring resources and information are available to support implementation, maintenance and continual improvement;

  • improving workers skills, awareness and knowledge of the quality system through consultation and training where required;

  • continually improving the effectiveness of our quality management system through client feedback, monitoring and performance review;

  • Ensuring the implementation and monitoring of this quality management system is consistent with ISO 9001:2015.

Our objectives are:

  • Client Focus – ensure that the organisation understands current and future Client needs, meets and monitors their requirements through continual consultation and, constantly strives to exceed Client expectations;

  • Involvement of People – ensure our people are actively engaged in the success of the Organisation through professional development to meet both personal and organisational goals;

  • Process Management – ensuring that personnel implement, and understand the relevance of, processes to achieving desirable outcomes and effective communication between the Organisation, it’s Clients and key stakeholders;

  • Subcontractor / Supplier Relationships – ensuring that quality and delivery are maintained while promoting mutually beneficial relationships between the Organisation, Clients, Stakeholders, Subcontractors and Suppliers towards agreed goals and objectives.

 

This quality policy forms part of the ACBPS Integrated Management System and will be deemed appropriate, approved signed and dated by the Managing Director, communicated throughout the organisation and displayed in a prominent position.

Management and staff will actively promote this policy and review it for suitability on an ongoing basis.

Environmental Certified Management System ISO 14001:2015

​

ACBPS acknowledges that its activities and services can cause impacts on the environment. The Organisation objectives shall be maintained within the best interests of the local community which would be affected by any environmental incident. The Organisation wishes to achieve the goals of responsibility to ensure that their activities do not cause damage to the environment.

To this end, ACBPS will work toward sustainable resource within its activities and in particular:

This policy is a commitment to:

  • Comply with environmental legislation, codes and guidelines

  • Identify and manage environmental risks

  • Adopt best practice, set targets, monitor and continuously improve our environmental performance

  • Raise personnel and community awareness of the benefits to industry in protecting and reducing impact on the environment

The policy relies on the following environmental principles:

  • Management will demonstrate leadership and commitment necessary to foster a culture of environmental responsibility

  • Minimising, and where possible, eliminating impacts of company activities on the surrounding social and natural environment

  • Implementing Section 4 of the Integrated Management System (this document)

  • Managing environmental factors including:

    • Minimising pollution

    • Resource recovery, recycling and waste management

    • Sustainable practice

    • Managing water conduct

  • Environmental risks are to be identified, assessed and controlled

  • Establish, monitor and review targets to achieve continual improvement of our environmental performance

  • Implement effective controls to identify, evaluate and mitigate adverse environmental risk from our activities

Safety Certified Management System ISO 45001:2018

​

ACBPS is committed to:

  • our workers’ health and safety

  • removing or reducing risks to the health and safety of all workers, contractors and visitors to this workplace and anyone else who may be affected by our operations

  • ensuring all work activities are done safely

  • a collaborative approach to identify and solve health and safety issues with our workers

  • continuously improving work health and safety by addressing hazards and reviewing outcomes.

 

To achieve this ACBPS will introduce and maintain an occupational health and safety (OHS) system which provides for:

  • identification and control of hazards and risks

  • instruction and training

  • consultation, cooperation and coordination

  • monitoring of the work environment and worker’s health

  • incident and injury management

 

Policy Objectives

 

The objectives of this policy are to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, that:

  • Workers and other persons are protected against harm to their health and safety through the elimination or minimisation of risks arising from work

  • Safe systems of work, structures, plant, equipment and chemicals are provided

  • Effective consultation, coordination and communication with other duty holders and workers in relation to workplace health and safety are established

  • Adequate information, instruction, training and supervision is provided for a safe and healthy workplace

  • Relevant Acts, Regulations and Regulating agencies are adhered to, consulted and considered in all activities, planning and conduct

  • Injured workers are provided with adequate injury management to enable them to remain at work or return to work at the earliest opportunity

  • Mitigating actions are developed to prevent incidents, including workplace inspections, and ensuring that these records are kept
